According to a recent LifeHacker article, Remove These 25 Android Apps That Steal Facebook Logins, a French cybersecurity firm discovered 25 Android Apps containing malware capable of stealing your Facebook login info.
How The Crooks Stole Facebook Login Info
Android users that had Facebook open in the background were tricked with a browser page containing a fake Facebook login page. This page was linked to the real Facebook App’s window where users could be swindled to enter their login info. The fake Facebook page copied user ID and password info and sent it to a remote server.

The apps appear to be harmless due to their “harmless” names. Would you suspect Android apps named “Solitaire Game” or “Contour level Wallpaper” were after your personal Facebook data?
The harmful apps were automatically removed from Android devices when Google removed them from Google Play; however, check your device to make sure they’re gone.
Reset Your Facebook Password
Log into Facebook and click “Settings” from the drop-down column on the right side of the page. Click “Security and Login” and you’ll see the “Change Password” link. Set up two-factor authentication to add an extra layer of protection to your account.
